| OUR PHILOSOPHY |
| It is not a dating or matchmaking website.
It can be used to meet like-minded people when they are available to meet while sitting in a coffee shop, travelling away from home, killing time in a hotel lounge, at the airport, on a flight, or just visting a new place. There are no options to send chat mesages. It just breaks the ice. It forces people to be honest. It creates an opportunity to know who is willing to meet around your location within a limited timeframe. It lets you go and meet others in person, without hiding behind a screen or sending sketchy chat messages. Its a little out of the box. Its a reality show and you are in it, not just watching it. It is not for everyone, and definitely not for every where. Because no one can be available for ever, it allows you to chose the duration during which you will be available. The duration ranges between 00 to 120 minutes. After the selected duration expires, the profile vanishes. We do not track your whereabouts or do not publish or sell your personal information. When you delete your wehreabouts, they are deleted from our servers also. |

| REGISTERATION |
| Registeration to LUCID membership is free. |
| MEMBERSHIPS |
| There are two types of memberships, Lucid and Intricate. a. You can register for free as a Lucid Member (with zero curios). Lucid members can post and check. Lucid members can post for current durations only. (You can upgrade later to Intricate membership whenever you like.) b. Intricate members get 50 curios/ tokens when they register. They still have to post before they can check, but they can like more users due to extra curios. They Intricate members can post for future durations. Intricate members can also form groups. There is a small fee. |

| You can login after you have registered or you can use your facebook, twitter, google or linkedin accounts to register. |
| MY PROFILE |
| The data entered during registration is saved in your profile. You can view your own profile by clicking on your name. The profile can be edited and more information can be added as desired. You can also make your information private or public. Others see your profile when they click on your name. They can see only the information that you have chosen to make public. |
| POST I AM AVAILABLE |
A post can be made by made by providing the following information: |
| CURIOS |
| a. When you make a post, you earn a curio. b. If a post is deleted before the end of selected duration, the earned curio is lost. c. If a post is not deleted before the end of the selected duration, the earned curio is not lost. d. When you like someones post and send a nod, you lose a curio. |
| CHECK WHO IS AVAILABLE |
| a. Only when you have earned at least one curio, you can check who is available at your location by selecting a radius around you. b. A map pops up and shows all the available people in your given radius. c. Posts of others who are available can be seen as on the map, as a list or as a slide view. |
| SALUTE/ LIKE/ NOD |
| a. You can send a salute or a nod (i.e. like
someone's post) only when you have earned at least one curio. You will lose one curio when you send a salute/ nod. b. After sending a salute or a nod, you can take your chances and try to find the person at their posted location. c. Alternatively, you can wait and see if the other person likes you back. If two persons like each others post, it means both are available to meet with each other. d. There is no messaging allowed. You know the location, all you have to do is walk up to the other persons location and say Hi. |
| HISTORY |
| A post is available for 2 or less hours. After the expiry of selected duration the post automatically becomes unavailable to others, but shows on your history page. You can delete your older posts if you like. |
| POST I WILL BE AVAILABLE |
| Users with Intricate membership can post for future durations. |
| MY FUTURE WHEREABOUTS |
| Users with Intricate membership can view their future whereabouts. |
| NOTIFICATIONS |
| You can chose to receive notifications on your mobile device or via email. Notifications can be sent for posts made, salutes sent or received etc. |
| TERMS |
| You will post your details and whereabouts for people to know you and find you and if they are also at the same location and if they like your details, they will come and look for you. Play the game and surprise yourself if you are really available and willing. We did not ask for a lot of information and also did not leave any options for you to hide behind a screen. As a matter of fact if you hide anything, and do not post your actual picture, or do not upload the picture of the place you are at, or do not post your location on the map, your chances of someone meeting you become less. It works both ways. Only when everybody knows that there is no one hiding anything and is not trying to cheat, actually can not cheat, people will trust each other. While not hiding your whereabouts to be able to meet other people is necessary, it is also necessary, especially when you do not know the person you are going to meet with, or if the place you are at is not very familiar to you, that you post your availability carefully, meet only at public places, well lit places and preferrably in the presence of a lot of people around you. The final decision to post that you are available at a certian location is always yours. More ... |
